Would you like to see your children grow up confident and aware of who they are and what is most important to them ? Would you like them to know what makes them happy throughout their life ?

My new book “Success Skills for Tomorrow’s Leaders” will help them stay true to themselves in case of conflict and pressure and explain how to handle the most common life challenges with confidence, so that they can enjoy and build the life they truly want for themselves.

Contrary to what people might think, our society doesn’t leave much room for independent spirits. There is pressure from the media/press, from peers, from work and societal norms to fit in, to adapt, to look and behave according to other’s prescriptions.  Anyone who ever tried to take a stand against the opinion or behaviour of the group will have felt the enormous pressure to fall back into line, either immediately or over time.

Deciding to follow and live your own unique values (the only way to find lasting happiness) is no small matter. In fact, it is a radical act that requires enormous courage and leadership. Deep inside everyone is different, and yet, daring to show your difference in every aspect makes you a target for bullying whether you are a child or an adult, UNLESS you have very strong self-esteem, one of the outcomes of working through and with this book.

“Success Skills for Tomorrow’s Leaders”  supports those who wish to take the path of living life according to their own unique definition of success, according to their own unique values.

Rather than merely repeating the same mistakes the older generation made, this book will help tomorrow’s leaders to reach a new level of understanding life by either avoiding some of the typical mistakes or experiencing them with better preparation, drawing more profound lessons from them (to use and pass on to the following generation).

“Success Skills for Tomorrow’s Leaders” will help you become unafraid of tackling life challenges, providing you with confidence in your abilities to deal with them successfully. The more mistakes/ lessons you understand early in life the stronger you will feel later and the more enjoyable your life will feel.

With today’s research results and the personal development theories that are available to us, this may be the first time we have had the opportunity to break the cycle of one generation passing on their limiting beliefs and their shortcomings onto the next generation. Only now do we have a decent chance to reflect on these shortcomings and selectively pass on only what serves the next generation.

I have heard parents say they want their children to learn their own lessons and they don’t want to take the experience away from them.  This statement only makes sense if you  believe that a) there is a limited number of life lessons, which everyone gets  during their lifetime eventually and then you are done with it, and that b) everything has to be learned by personal experience and there is no value in sharing experiences.

My philosophy is that there are more life lessons than most people have time in their life. In fact, some people die long before they have mastered even the essentials. If you agree that there are more life lessons and personal development steps (up to enlightenment at the very end) than most of us would ever experience in a normal lifetime, then it makes enormous sense to give our children a head-start rather than merely repeating the same experience the previous generation had. We don’t repeat the same science experiments every generation, we don’t repeat the same medical experiments in every generation just to get the same learnings. Why should we repeat the same personal development experiences  ? As a certified coach I know that it is not only possible to help somebody else develop faster, I also see it as my role to help others with this challenge.

Of course, young people might refuse to accept some of the concepts and learnings outlined in this book and need to gain their very own experiences. I do not deny that. But I believe that by giving them some prior knowledge on a certain topic and preparing them for situations, their own experience will certainly be enriched, deeper and their own conclusions will be more refined.  This will allow them to reach a higher level of understanding than many of the older generation reached on the same occasion. Tomorrow’s leaders will also be able to pass on a much more sophisticated set of life lessons and learnings to their own children, enabling them to reach an even higher level of personal development and the respective fulfilment and joy.

“Success Skills for Tomorrow’s Leaders” is largely based on my personal and professional experience. What I am offering is the rich collection of relevant life learnings of dozens of personal leaders.  Through a step-by-step action plan, you will develop and end up with your personal success plan in the end.

The book is available from amazon.com, amazon.co.uk
